Overview
As the largest of Barbados's parishes, Saint Philip spans the south-eastern tip of the island; the first point to make contact with the powerful Atlantic Ocean. Boisterous conditions have birthed some of the island's most beautiful beaches, such as Crane Beach and Bottom Bay, and Ragged Point Lighthouse is a monument to Barbados's colonial history. It's not all about the past, though: Bushy Park racing circuit appeals to the island's modern pursuits, and many favourite restaurants call Saint Philip home.
